The R&D Tax Credit in the New Economy, provided an open discussion on the importance of an R&D Tax Credit incentive to the economy and created a common ground from which the operation of the R&D Tax Credit could be analyzed. Panel discussions, featuring many of the top tax professionals in the country, debated policy goals underlying the R&D Tax Credit, the operation of the R&D Credit, whether the Credit was meeting policy goals and whether improvements were necessary.
